TOPICS WE WILL COVER:

PREREQUISITES: This college preparatory course must be done after Algebra 1, after Algebra 2, or concurrently with Algebra 2.

This college preparatory course covers e logic and proof, parallel lines and polygons, perimeter and area analysis, volume and surface area analysis, similarity and congruence, circles, coordinate geometry, and transformations, and much more. Emphasis will be placed on developing critical thinking skills as they relate to logical reasoning and argument, and more.

PREREQUISITES: This course must be done after Algebra 1, Geometry

This college preparatory Algebra II covers the study of linear and nonlinear functions (polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and rational).  The course also extends the study of algebra from real numbers to the complex number system.  Students will demonstrate their grasp of essential concepts through their interactions with each other.

PREREQUISITES: This course must be done after Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry

This college preparatory course covers the trigonometry of angles and real numbers; the trigonometric functions and their inverses, including their graphs; solutions of right and oblique triangles; verification of fundamental identities and analytic trigonometry; addition, subtraction, and multiple angle formulas; the laws of sines and cosines; vectors and the dot and cross product; complex numbers, De Moivre's Theorem and nth roots of complex numbers; polar coordinates and equations.

PREREQUISITES: This course must be done after Pre-calculus

This college preparatory Calculus course covers most of the first two semesters of college-level calculus, using a college-level calculus book. This course introduces students to the four key calculus concepts (limits, continuity, derivatives, and integrals, word problems, and more). By establishing a solid foundation in calculus basics, this course is intended to prepare a student for college calculus and the STEM field and the things that build on it.

This course is designed for middle school students who require basic skill development in preparation for Pre- Algebra. Students review foundational topics essential for successful pre-algebraic thinking. Topics include the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of integers, mixed numbers, improper fractions, fraction as a decimal, decimal as a fraction, sorting numbers from least to greatest/ greatest to least, shapes and angles, unit conversions, word problems.
